Sell your Pokémon collection in the Southwest

Inherited a binder, clearing the loft, or cashing out a childhood collection? Here's how to work out what it's worth and sell it properly in Devon or Cornwall — without getting lowballed.

1. Step 1

   Sort before you value

   Split holos, full arts, graded slabs and vintage (1999–2003) from bulk commons. Most of the value sits in a small number of cards, and a sorted collection always gets a faster, better offer.

2. Step 2

   Check real sold prices

   Use Comped to check what cards have actually sold for, not asking prices. Condition matters enormously — a near-mint vintage holo can be worth many times a played copy.

3. Step 3

   Get an offer from a real shop

4. Step 4

   Decide: outright or piece by piece

   Selling outright is fastest and simplest. Selling individually can earn more on high-value singles but costs you time, fees and packaging. For most collections, a mix works best: sell the top cards individually and the rest as a lot.
